Parkview Estate Development Plan, Kilmore

This project involved the preparation of a Development Plan (masterplan) for the development of a major residential development in Kilmore.  Key elements of the development were 100+ conventional residential lots, medium density lots, a commercial node and a waterway drainage reserve with shared paths.

Centrum Town Planning co-ordinated the preparation of the Plan in consultation with a team of expert consultants, balancing a range of different objectives to develop a plan that was acceptable to all stakeholders.  The project involved close consultation with Council, neighbouring landowners and referral authorities relating to sensitive topics such as interface treatments, waterway treatments and infrastructure contributions. The Development Plan has facilitated the issue of planning permits and detailed design work is underway.

Forest Street Apartments, Bendigo

Forest Street is a charming heritage street located near the Arts Precinct in the Bendigo CBD. When a visionary development company sought to construct 17 apartments and convert a historic building to a series of apartments, they turned to Centrum Town Planning for assistance. Centrum assisted the client and architect in working through a complex series of issues relating to heritage, design, parking and acoustics, to obtain planning approval for an apartment scheme that will provide a new residential product and enliven the Bendigo CBD.

Prouses Road dwellings, North Bendigo

This project involved the construction of six separate dwellings and a share house on a major infill development site in North Bendigo.  Centrum Town Planning prepared all submissions to address the Planning Scheme and assisted the client with resident and stakeholder consultation.  In particular, Centrum Town Planning assisted the client in resolving issues relating to landscaping and interface treatments on the site.

Quarry Hill Dwelling, Bendigo

Centrum Town Planning represented the client at a VCAT appeal for the development of a two storey dwelling on a small and challenging site in a heritage overlay in inner Bendigo.   The process required careful consideration of ResCode and other design considerations in the context of an amendment to an existing planning permit.  Centrum Town Planning worked closely with the client and architects to achieve a successful outcome at VCAT, including the briefing and co-ordination of expert witnesses.
