Broadford Salvation Army

Centrum Town Planning co-ordinated the planning process for the redevelopment of the Salvation Army’s site in Broadford.  We assisted the client in navigating planning issues relating to heritage, traffic, urban design and landscaping.  We obtained a planning permit for a high quality new building that will contribute positively to the streetscape and secure the Salvation Army’s presence and important work in the Broadford Town Centre.

White Hills Childcare Centre

This project involved the design and construction of a large, 120 place child care centre in White Hills, Bendigo.  The project involved careful consideration of interfaces with adjoining residential areas, car parking and other design considerations.  Centrum Town Planning successfully assisted the client in developing responses to interface issues, including fencing, landscaping and permit conditions.  The centre has been constructed and is operating.

Sidney Myer Training Facility

Centrum Town Planning assisted Haven; Home, Safe, with obtaining a planning permit for the re-purposing of a Victorian dwelling for a new training facility associated with the Sidney Myer residential development.   The project required careful analysis of neighbourhood character, amenity, traffic and other issues, in a sensitive residential context.

Creek Street Christian College – Kindergarten and VCE Centre

Centrum Town Planning has assisted Creek Street Christian College with a number of key recent development projects.  The recent development of a kindergarten associated with a campus was a key development for the School.  It involved the conversion of a 1920s bungalow to a modern, fit for purpose, kindergarten, with carefully considered playgrounds and landscape treatments.  Centrum Town Planning assisted the School in obtaining a planning permit, including negotiations with authorities and the management of parking and movement associated with the existing School.

Centrum Town Planning has also recently obtained a permit for a new VCE building on the campus, which involved careful consideration of siting options, character and building design to reflect adjacent residential development.
